@Proffnt are you going for richardson because he is a red devil?? Personally I'd go for Joe Cole or Wayne Bridge on left mid. Sven needs to look at what his best team is, not how he can accomodate all his 'world class' players.

On another note, how much of an embarassment was Ian Wright, this guy is paid to analyse and discuss the game he has just watched. Watching him sat slouched in his chair sulking like a kid really annoyed me. Fair enough, be upset at the result, be angry at the result but don't act like a child!

Yeah i noticed that, he is just showing his passion, and he has not been a pundit very long, i am sure he will become more professional.

As for richardson, the reason i chose him was because downing & bridge were injured and he is the next best "true" left footer that can really run with the ball. Another would be gareth barry but i think he cant really attack the ball.

RIchardson can't even get a game in for ManU - there is no way
he should be playing for the country imo.

Even with Downing and Bridge being unfit, I still wouldn't play him

I chose Parker cos he's playing well, and he's one of the best in
the country in that 'holding' position. It's not just cos he plays for
the Toon that I chose him - I'd be quite happy to never see Dyer
in an England shirt again!

That is true, but he would get in any other premiership team...

Parker is a good player he showed that at Charlton, but he couldn't displace Makalele who is probably the best in the world at that job. Keane/Viera like going forward, don't think i have seen him ever cross the half way line he offers true protection to the midfield and defence.

Exactly, no-one is as good as makalele, but Parker is the best we
have in that role IMO. Carrick is way over-rated.

Maybe, i think carrick will lean alot from Davids. Nicky Butt was a world beater according to pele at the last world cup but i just don't know whats happened to him since he left united - didn't get many games for the toon army, with regular footie @ birminigham he may become another decent option.

But defiently we need a holding midfielder with 3 going forward then rooney + 1 other (owen ??).

I also think England missed Neville, luke young did ok, but neville has the experience of playing with golden balls and he would have put him into shape.

Definitely Owen up front. He's gonna learn a lot this season I think.
I can see him and Alan being a great partnership, and I think there
is quite a lot he can learn from Alan too...

I have heard allot about when they played for england together they didn't really hit it off, but i don't remeber. Its been on the radio but i honestly dont remember, but he can learn alot from Alan.

Its anoying, chelsea keep winning......but credit to city, they are playing well.
