Yeah he is undoubtly a world class player its a pitty his attidude isn't quite there yet, but hes only young he will get experienced soon. Remember most of the man utd squad have played in europe with european refs for alot of games, this is only roonys second season - the rest are seasoned professionals in europe. He might have got away with that in the premier league but no chance in europe.

Fair enough, but there are other young players out there who don't act like petulant schoolboys, Christiano Ronaldo can't be much older than him and he doesn't run around like a neanderthal. I think Rooney's main problem is he is thick as mince and doesn't think about the consequences of his actions.

True but Ronaldo grew up on the continent, and the game is very different over there, but there are no excuses for Wayne. Hopefully he will learn, if anyone can do it sir alex, he managed it with paul ince and he will do it again, I also think other members of the squad need to work with him. Beckham did in the england game, but i saw no one trying to calm him down, after the red was shown he was all up in the face of the ref again - some one should have pulled him aside and told him "look what you did was stupid, and deserved the red card - no go off and think about what your stupidity could do to our chance in europe"

Looks like Everton are heading out of Europe after that bashing last nite, good to see all the other british teams do well.

Aye they didn't look too good! Hibs were unlucky, hit the woodwork twice and I think they'll struggle in the Ukraine.

You never know, they might become bravehearts and play out of their skin.....

Well without Henry they will struggle, Man Utd felt it when Ruud was out. I think Keane & Hienze will be a big loss for UTD aswell.

Poor? Whats poor in that? If the strikers in Arsenal are not enough to worry an opposing team what will the other teams do if the defenders of Arsenal start scoring.
You have got to admit that even if Arsenal are on a low they are still one of the best teams in England.
