Scotland may have a few suspension issues too methinks.
Great result again last night. Scotland haven't qualified for a major finals since 96 I think??? But if we qualify from this, it will be one of the best results ever IMHO: World Cup winners and runners up and Ukraine who were quarter finalists in the last WC .... Still a long way to go though and I am expecting a fall soon ... this is Scotland we are talking out.. ![]() I hope I am proved wrong ... and even if I am not, the Scots have done fantastically well this qualification anyway.

Aye, we do have a couple of suspensions (McCulloch and O'Connor) but I'm more worried about the injuries we're gonna have. Been reading that McManus, Ferguson and Hutton all left Hampden yesterday with ice packs attached to their injuries and Scott Brown is definitely out because of his hamstring. Can see a couple more getting called up and Fletcher might be one of them.
The last finals we were the world cup finals at France 98. Doesn't feel like ten years ago! Group of death, but we're still at the top and hopefully we'll get the three points against Georgia. Then, all we'll need is a draw against Italy . . . . . which might prove to be very difficult, especially as they'll probably need the 3 points to ensure qualification! I'm still on a high !!! ![]()

Could be worse, you could live in Canada. We made it in '86 and came away goal free! And we did it again this year in the under 20s! Best of luck with your side going forward.

Saying that, I would prefer to lose them against Georgia than against Italy... |

I'd have preferred not to have lost either of them !
Na, have to agree with you though, would definitely rather have them against Italy than Georgia. We'll definitely miss their running on the right against the Georgians though - hopefully we'll just keep it tight and get the three points. |

Well, that was rubbish! I knew the bubble had to burst somewhere.
A bad team performance with only one or two shots on target, but Alexander, Murty, Fletcher and Pearson were the worst. I think playing Barry Robson would have been a better choice than Fletcher. Still, all we need to do now is beat Italy . . . . that should be easy enough !! (At least it's an excuse to go back to the pub . . . ) |

Ireland were sh!te the night as well, last minute goal for a draw, ... against Cyprus, and the Cypriots were livid that there was a draw.
Dunphy's going after the FAI instead of Staunton, and I think he's right ... Hang Stan???
