The DMCA
I wrote this little essay (a k words) for the english class and would like some feedback on it. I did it overnight so it's not superb but hey, better than nothing.

I received no grades on it (we were suppose to write 2 essays and make an oral on one of them) and already gave it to the teacher so there's no cheating involved.

Interesting. Nice to see the relevant stuff written down in one place.

One thing which I missed (i. e., which I would have added) is the compatibility of the DMCA, DRM and the classical copyright laws with the liberal capitalistic system USA-wide and on the global market as well as possible consequences of the DMCA and DRM for the US economy and their moral implications.

(If you think that sounds like an indirect critique on capitalism in general you're right.)

It is one of the thing I wanted to mention but it was only a thousand words (it was 3am too) and I didn't quit grasp the current implementation of the DRM/DMCA. But looks like Microsoft really wants to implement DRM/Palladium as we can see with WMP9 and Palladium. But we should be safe as long as the laws don't require a TCP/MS on the internet (glad we have IPv6).

But my teacher prefered the Bill Hicks bio tough!

can you change your font color? i'd read your essay but the contrast of the font and the background is just too hard on the eyes.
