Now it would appear that nothing the a solid rule now-a-days.

Thays why its called a theory rather than a law.

Even Einstein knew it was wrong. it was just the best he could put together. He spent most of his later life trying to find a unified field theory, but never did. It was just a matter of time till we figured out How he was wrong. we allways knew that he was wrong though.

Well maybe not wrong, but just not 100% correct.

It just the like when relatively was first proposed. In a few instances it was found that Newtons laws where wrong. Einstiens proposed relatively which cleared up these problems. Even though they are wrong Newtons laws are still used most the time as they are simpler and right in all but extreme cases.
Even if it is found that the speed of light is variable Relativity will still hold in most cases.

how can the speed of light be slowing down? isn't the speed of light solely determined by the density of the medium it flows through?

sounds neat
what kind of energy does this anti-gravity thing work on?
how can we work on anti-gravity when we don't really know what gravity is?

I believe a few companies are doing some antigravity research including NASA and Boeing. Some one published some research data a few years that no really believes but can't afford to not follow up just in case.

Anti Grav has been around for an age, the Russians are very very close to releasing the first disc shaped anti grav errr plane, ship whatever they are gonna call it. The US has also been researching it for donkey's years down at Area 51, they are also close but they have kept there designs under wraps just like they did with the Stealth's system.

I watch to much Discovery

I've always said those "UFO's" are nothing but extremely modern aircraft developed by humans...
