I can hardly ever do anything in this board without being sent to the login prompt.

Maybe the timeout is a tad low ?

It's a damn good thing I got in the habit of copying my posts before submitting

My problem is typical of vB, and not all vB's at that. But many.

Never happens with phpBB or others.

I agree with Viper - we have never experienced that problem on our end. Cookies must be enabled, and check your security settings in your browser. It does seem like either cookies are not enabled or they are timing out too fast.

Maybe it's vB's security that's "too" high
Maybe it's a version thing.
Maybe the vB's that don't give me problems are older versions with looser security ? ? ?

One thing it might be, go to your CP http://forums.devshed.com/member.ph...ion=editoptions

Make sure the second and third option are both set to yes if one is on No there has been know to have problems with the other option.
