    I'd agree with him if he said "perl sucks" .

    Seriously, though, "my language is better than yours" arguments are pointless. Languages are tools. You use the right one for the job.

    (Seriously, just to clear anything up, I have nothing against Java or it's programmers, I just perfer C personally, and like to insult other people.... frankly, I'm half jealous that C/++ doesn't have garbage collection )
