Too complicated or not? [b][/b] tags for website content producer

Hi everyone! I've been raking my brain over this and the answer was under my fingers all this time!

This web site I'm building will be updated only by some people who don't know the difference between a <b> and a <a href=""> just to give an idea! They know how to use Word to a certain point.

But I need to allow them to put up some content, while being able to use company logos and such! So I'm thinking about making a system simular to this forum with the tags and adding features like [logo=big], [logo=small] which would insert the company logo. I'll have the tags in the database and use preg_replace to print the actual HTML to display the images and bold text etc...

They don't need very complex formating, only simple text stuff... Do you think this will confuse them? I guess I could give them a crash course in vBulletin type codes

Wondering on other views about this.

Thanks

Its one of the greatest portal system I have come across.

In that when you add/edit the article you are provided with kinda wysywig HTML editor made in DHTML !!! so they can make pages from browser only !! though only basic, but it can be really interesting for your customer.

If you would like to have full blown product you must check out http://www.mystickyweb.com
