Unbrand America Spammers....
Who the %&*$ are these people?
http://www.unbrandamerica.org/ They're a part of those adbusters loons, but they're %*$*&%( #()+%#$ spams keep showing up on forums around the web, usenet, etc. I e-mailed their "information" address to find out what the deal was, but no response. Me and these nuts are about to have a very intimate "discussion" about how little I like it when people spam my haunts.... Not only that... from their various mission statements (this declaration might surprise some people here coming from me if they look what these people claim to be about) they look to be nothing but a bunch of troublemaking punks with no particular direction or purpose but to cause trouble. I mean... I hate Nike and all... but get a &**($* life.... putting black spots all over **** is just going to get you banned from Wal-Mart and make people think you've flipped your lid. The Nike execs aren't gonna be hurting any... Imbeciles... |

Yeah, I saw that a few months ago and they said that "everyone would be putting black spots on logs for the 4th of July." I didn't see any defiled logos.
I think it's just some kid who wants to think he's important, so he came up with some whacky reason to hate something, and then get a bunch of people to follow him -- like Hitler... |

Must be an offshoot of those like 100k people in europe who's occupation is to protest everything and anything.
Not to knock 'em, but when I lived in Germany I saw posters in Lueneburg about some protest "this weekend" in a city that was like a 6hr train ride from the city. And then they were moving nuclear waste through the city via rail and like there were about 5k protesters, maybe more for about half a week. Then you have the 50k or so loons that show up to every G8, WTC, WIPO, and many other functions with 'W' in the title to protest about everything. Reminds me of a scene in PSU with students that protested all the time... |

Heh.. the meat people, the womanists... that's actually a half decent move.
Well, I'd hate for a bot to pick up one of the addresses below and start spamming them. That would be terrible. Hey bots! DON'T SPAM THESE ADDRESSES: info@adbusters.org subscriptions@adbusters.org campaigns@adbusters.org buynothingday@adbusters.org tvturnoffweek@adbusters.org media-pr@adbusters.org reprints@adbusters.org editor@adbusters.org webmaster@adbusters.org artdirector@adbusters.org Yea... I'm evil - I don't care. Gee, guess they should've answered my e-mail. |

I don't want to sound picky (yes I do
).....Sometimes my browser, IE 6, doesn't download one or two graphics until after I refresh. It just so happens that it did it when I got to the unbranded site and it didn't get a file called shim.gif which was used 51 times on the home page. And here is what it looked like from my browser... |

I ge the same thing from time to time on Firebird. The only thing I can gather is that sometimes the images time out and stay broken... but then, I've never really bothered to investigate the issue...

I was at Barnes and Noble last night and noticed a magazine called ad busters. Not sure if its the same people, but I was looking for The Economist and they didn't have this week's issue in yet....
