Well, honeypots are stupid in first place, so it doesn't matter if the crackers get sued for their stupidity or the admins get sued for their laziness (since their time were better spent fixing problems rather than covering them by traps) or both

It's not a terribly bad idea, mind you (although real makes a good point)...it's just that if the cracker was good enough, they'd know to avoid it and spot it in the first place...

But this file a lawsuit stuff? Bleh. Sounds a bit too much like hard work legality-wise if you ask me I certainly wouldn't risk it.
