In Yahoo email, I am not able to attach documents when using my PC w/XP. But I can using Win 2000. It starts the attachment process but never seems to complete the load. Any ideas?

I too have a Yahoo! email account, and am able to add attachments in Mozilla, Mozilla Firebird, and MSIE 6.
What browser are you using? What kind(s) of file(s) are you attempting to attach? To avoid confusion, I deleted the off-topic cross-post you made on this exact same subject in the PHP forum. Also, just to set the record straight, Fataqui was doing the right thing by letting you know you had posted your message in the wrong forum. Please do try to keep your posts on-topic, thanks.

I am using explorer v6. It was not orginally an issue, but now, from two different laptops, using XP - 99% of the time the attachment process does not complete. I have attempted to attach, word, excel, jpeg's - no difference. Have tied log off yahoo, restarting laptop, etc... But using the same login info, on a win 2000, with Explorer v6 - not an issue.

It might be some configuration setting in your MSIE on XP that is different than your settings on 2K. Kind of a tough thing to debug w/o more information, esp. since I've never encountered an issue like this in the past.
Have you tried performing this action w/ another web browser, such as Mozilla? If not, download Mozilla 1.5 or Mozilla Firebird v0.6 (my personal fav) and give it a shot - at least this way you'll be able to isolate whether its an MSIE issue or not. |
