Voice over IP (VoIP)

Hi,

I'm looking for a forum for VoIP, any chance, where would I request an new forum ?

I've successfully set up a VoIP server using Asterisk and the PCs have x-lite application. Struggling to find handsets which will work with this as nearly all the ones I've come across are for Skype only :-(

Bought a couple of US Robotics USB handsets (USR809601A) and these seem to work as required as long as I don't install the software supplied - if I do they will then only work with Skype. Unfortunately not installing the software means i can't use the handset buttons and must use the x-lite desktop application to make/answer calls.

Anyone know how I could hack into the phone software so the buttons work but still allow me non-Skype ?

I'd suggest this as a sub forum of the networking area, or linux

The suggestions & feedback forum would be the place to go to do that
