Web servers behind a LAN = not workin'
Hi,
I've got a server connected to the internet and a client with a webserver on it sharing this internet connection. Both running windows 2k.
Server: <---LAN---> Client [ webserver]
[ ] <-- Internet Sharing --> [ ]
Now because the client isnt assigned an ip address no one can access it, but i was thinking. Is there a way to create a tunnel so ppl who do a http request on port 80 are directed to the webserver behind the lan?
I can't install the webserver on the server so thats out of the question. There must be a way to do this. Any ideas?
Thanks.
BTW: Lookin' for someone to admin an RAQ4 server, will give free webspace in exchange.

explaination
We have internet connection sharing working. The server and my pc has access to the internet. the only problem is.. my computer doesnt have an internet ip address. and for them to access my pewter they have to go through the server(connected to the internet) and through to lan ( 192.168.0.x) to my pc.. and thats impossible... so i need some sort of routing software..
understand now?
does nat do this?

In my understanding this prog (nat32) has to be installedon the server to route http requests to your "internal" Webserver.
My Question: If you are allowed to install such a prog on the server why are you permitted to install the webserver there at all.
I dont think that makes security holes much smaller ...

i am allowed to install anything i want....
however.... i wanted to install it on mine... u cant remotely administer this webserver, and i didnt want to bother my flatmate. Its not as simple as putting the files in the directory i wanted them in. this webserver is a file sharing program.. so im always on there adding / deleting... i cant do this remotely..

first you started off saying this was a server on a lan and you wanted the internet to be shared, not you're saying it's a webserver.... which is it
