"Webtrends" logs. Are they accurate?
Hello,
I was wondering how accurate these log analyzers are? I'm using Webtrends that comes part of my hosting package. I had a look and this is what I got:
Quote: General Statistics
Hits Entire Site (Successful) 5,040,203
Average Per Day 5,040,203
Home Page 65,504
Page Views Page Views (Impressions) 1,738,711
Average Per Day 1,738,711
Document Views 448,305
Visitor Sessions 205,003
Average Per Day 205,003
Average Visitor Session Length 00:18:55
International Visitor Sessions 6.52%
Visitor Sessions of Unknown Origin 12.1%
Visitor Sessions from United States 81.36%
Visitors Unique Visitors 27,300
Visitors Who Visited Once 20,322
Visitors Who Visited More Than Once 6,978 |
That just seems like way to much traffic. Take note that those figures are for one (1) day only. It's too much IMHO.
Can I rely on these reports?
OK, thanks.
