evilc -- as i said in your other dup post -- it's up to you but, if you're going to be hiring a programmer -- let them decide, since they're going to be the one doing it ![]() also, lets not forget about coldfusion, lol |

i think we would all rather forget that coldfusion exists. Any programming language that uses tags is a joke and doesnt deserve to be used!

If you put an outline together of what the site entails and what the requirements for the site are and you were to take it a design firm of some kind, they would decide, based on your requirements, what language to use.
I know you seem to be talking about hiring a single programmer, but that's what design firms are for. Maybe you know a little of a particular language. I'd have it done in that language so you can possibly make a few small changes on your own in the future, particularly if you plan on continuing to educate yourself in that language. |
