Who's NOT on DevShed?
I was thinking the other day, it seems as if there are thousands and thousands of PHP programmers out there, and I'd bet my lunch that 98% have spent time on DevShed.
I mean, it's kind of hard to do anything PHP without DevShed coming up in a Google search or whatever. I remember looking up something kind of related to PHP and there were like 15 results from DevShed. Does anyone else think this, or am I just crazy? |

According to an estimate by Zend, there are approx 500,000 PHP developers worldwide.
So, that means DS has less than 10% of these people as registered users... still, though, thats quite a good response rate, and doesn't account for 'guests' who use the resources but don't sign up. I've encountered the ubiquity of DS in Google searches as well... quite impressive, actually. FWIW, though, can you name another resource as well put together and useful as this one for PHP (aside from PHP.net )? I can't. Devshed is the bee's knee's.

This is quickly beginning to sound like a session of Devshedders Anonymous. - "Hi, my name is Doug G". > "Hi Doug!!!" - "Well, you see, it all started in June, 2003, when I registered on Devshed... I was introduced to Devshed by Google. At first I thought I could control it - a post here, a poll there... but then, you know, I started doing it everyday. At work. At school. At home. After awhile, I'd skip meals, to be on Devshed. Dates, skipped. Then, they made me a moderator, and it all just fell apart..." ![]() |

I think a bee has a veritable plethora of knees - 6, to be exact. |

But have you ever seen a bee's knee?

I thought bees were far too modest for that sort of behavior. But maybe I'm just hanging around the wrong bees... |

No. Suddenly this sounds like a buddhist question. If no one has seen a bee's knees, does it actually have them? |

I can't resist the joke here... bee's typically won't show you anything above their ankles, but WASPs always will. LMAO ... |
