Unhappy Why can't we use custom avatars

Ive used other vBulletin forums and members are given the option
of adding avatars to there posts, why have DevShed disabled
this option anyone know

coz the forums are slow enough as it is, can you imagine how slow they would be if everyone had custom avatars too

And Silky i don't think avatars would slow the forum down at all
a 50x50 pixel image is not gonna bring the house down
and most members woudn't use this option

The Ape, avatar is a little picture that [supposely] represents ya. You can see them used usually right by the name, and you get to pick one image to go with your posts (kinda like signature)
