Er, it's black and green. It's going to be awesome? Don't think so. It's going to be unvisited by millions the world over, but those will be the lucky ones.

I just visited it.

Binky's right.

I do believe that has been made in Geocities very own "be a web designer" tool.

Pure genius.

I'm pretty sure sentance
>>I just found this site and I think its going to be awesome!
was referred to devshed rather than his page. On the a sidenote - DeWayne *really* needs to work on design and also he needs to find new hosting.

But the term 'going to be' wouldn't fit would it?

*shrudders* when getting a flashback from IBM's old favourite terminal window color combination...

Ah, but in a retrospective, looking back kind of way the terminal would look good as a design if that was the idea. Something like the blue and yellow Amstrad colors or the black and red amiga crash look. But then it would be obviously kitsch retro and therefore good.

Ah, those were the days... Still got an Amiga stashed up in a closet somewhere...
But somehow I don't think that this was a deliberate attempt of creating a kitsch retro... Or I simply fail to find the connection...

No, I don't think it is... and speaking of connections.... what's the title got to do with the site? Was I just too numbed by the design to find if the Irish will ever join a conference?

And can I take offence on behalf of the Irish? Not being Irish, but having known a fair few... don't lump Jerry Adams and Martin McGuiness with the entire population of Ireland, these two 'gentlemen' don't represent the majority of Irish people.

I have to confess that I didn't follow any link going beyond the first page on that site, so the answer to the question might be revealed if anyone dares going further than I did...

Also, if he thinks that this site is going to be awesome, how would you describe it now? Or is he maybe refering to the Irish conference?

Not sure if there's anything to be offended by, but if you're in the mood, why not?

I think the description means that 'it's going to be awesome... if you click one of the links in my gateway page to get to a standard forum on college basketball. Fine if you like college basketball, but why not just say:

if you like college basketball then please visit my fourm, it's well established and has all the runours and news you ever wanted.

??

I take offence at posting a crap gateway page when you could have just posted the forum link. Hey, it might have got more hits.

Don't know what the Irish link, maybe it was some topical thing. The Irish may not be going to a basketball conference, and they don't turn up at a political one either. If that's the case then it's such a clever link that it's impossible to guess, unless you're some kind of college basketball freak.

I don't think there's anything to be offended by either, but hey, why not?
