I have a friend that tells me that her windows media player won't play certain slideshows on the web. She'll click on the slieshow link, media player comes up like it should, then tells her that 'the source filter cannot be loaded'. What dows that mean and how can she fix it to where she can watch the slidehsows??!!

Well that means exactly what is says, the filter cannot be loaded... most likely the file has been compressed and she doesn't have the right codec.

If she were to download a more updated windows media player, like the 9 series, do you think that would eliminate her problem??
Thanks! Amy |
