Wrox book trouble - PHP web services
Does anybody know where I can find the case studies for the Wrox book 'Professional PHP Web Services'?
I can't find any reference to the book on the Wrox or Wiley site. Thanks!

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...=glance&s=books Doesn't look worth it, in my opinion... :\

I already have the book, I want the support material!
In particular the Krysalis case study. Does anybody else have this book? |

Ah - you didn't specify that you had it already in your 1st post. Did you contact Wrox? The support materials are supposed to be 'part of the package' from them... if the info isn't on their site, they should be able to send it to you. |

I've tried Wrox (about 10 minutes ago). Unfortunately they aren't as fast as Devshed in responding! I'm asking people here because I'm a bit skeptical about recieving a responce from them (after reading other peoples experiences). There isn't a reference to the book ('Professional PHP Web Services') on the Wrox or Wiley website.

I would just go ahead and contact the company directly. If you don't get a response from Wrox, I would write a letter that you can send to every editor of every major tech-magazine, complaining about Wrox's follow-through w/ their promise to have online supporting material for books they sell. Send your letter to PC World, PC Mag, ZDNet, MacWorld - you name it. I would then file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, as well as the Federal Trade Commission and possibly the FCC as well. But, thats only if Wrox doesn't respond. If they do respond, then all is well. ![]() |

Yikes!! It's only been 20 minutes since I sent them an email!
I'd prefer not to contact them directly because I live in Ireland. |

The supporting materials should be electronic files. You can contact Wrox via email. There should be no reason why they cannot transmit the files via email, FTP, or setup a non-public HTTP page for your to download the files from. Surely emailing a .zip file is w/in their ability. |
