Your Xmas Wishlist...

So, c'mon its almost christmas, what do you have on your christmas list this year?

Personally, I have some boring computer hardware, a few magazines, some electronics, a couple of books and some software - pretty generic crap really.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not christmas yet!!!!! My Birthday hasn't past yet so christmas isn't official coming up yet heheh

i think i may buy myself a new laptop for christmas, im getting bored of mine, and the P.O.S doesn't like to stay plugged in anymore. plust someone stepped on it so i've got a whack of dead pixels right in the middle *sigh*

on my list from other people.... some cds, dvds, dvd burner.. the usual

I've got no christmas list. I expect as usual I'll receive large quantities of cholesterol via postal mail. And I've been so good about giving up eggs...

For christmas (or Yule, as it were in my house), I plan on getting a godbox for all those windoze games that I can't play on a stock pII compaq. Maybe Alienware, as they have that dual video card thing... I remember seeing it in a spam. Also, need to get at least a p3 laptop (can't remember what AMD calls the equivalent). I can't stand being in class with nothing to do, and listening to the professor jabber on about what I learned before I even started school. Do you think bringing a gamepad to class would be too obvious?

Still can't believe it's almost Xmas already, been one quick year !

Anyway, can see a new Digital Camera being on the list, and maybe a Plasma TV (which I'll probably need to purchase myself ) apart from that, just the usual things that come with Xmas from relatives !

I wanna another hdd so I can backup all my stuff "just in case"....

BTW: Employee's have recommended getting "backup software" but I figure all I plan on doing is clicking and dragging most of my files, not like I'm backing up Windows or anything.... does backup software do anything special?

It would be cheaper to split 2 partitions. I've blown windows up lots (haven't we all?) and have avoided losing files that I use quite a bit. This is also a good way to store reinstalls... Backup software does little. Get a burner and Nero or Roxio or something GPL (even better) and you'll do fine. Save yer munny, dude.

I just want another hard disk in case some seriously screwed up happens, because I have my world on here and losing it is NOT an option.....

Money towards my Smart Formore. That's the only item on my list and I'mma be dissapointed if I get anything else.

My wishlist would include an Alienware. The new 4GHz one. Oooohh yeah. But unfortunatly, I cannot afford one, nor anyone who would care the least can afford one.

I'll just get an iPod maybe. Or maybe I'll get another set of Logitech Z3000s. That would bring my house to rubble. As it is, it shakes the entire house, and the neighbors scream and yell and I say "You're disturbing the peace. Shut up and let Eminem show his style." I've gotten quite a few knocks on my door on that one. But everyone here loves rap, and if they had been jamming it with classical, they would have been barred. I got a don't-do-this-again-and-what-album-is-that-song-from?

i actually just came up with my xmas-list version 1 last night. it consists of some new speakers for my pc (thinking some nice altec lansings), some snowboard bindings, either Drake or Ride, and thast about it. Of course, if those arent options, money is a good replacement

(although I bet myself double or nothing I'm going to get clothes, especially socks. I get A LOT of socks at x-mas time usually....)
