    Reputation Power

    Hey!

How many points do you need to get a higher reputation?

    Question

OK I understand the rep. points but what is reputation power? Is that realted to how many points / posts you have or what?

I guess that the higher your rep power the more points you give / take when repping someone else ... ?

And how do you increase your power?

Your power increases by 1 for every year you've been here, every
1000 posts you make, and every 100 rep points you receive...

Does the reps given in the lounge have the same weights as the real forums?

Kind of defeats the purpose if it still does. I mean, posts in the lounge don't usually contribute that much to anything - look at the reps given in this thread for example.

don't ever ask for rep, it's an invitation for others to de-rep you....
