Nope sorry best I can suggest is try your library for 'web design' read HTML books, they may have one or two ideas.
If you want scripts for your site I'd suggest www.hotscripts.com it has a nice selection.

Wish there was a single place for this !!!!
Actually Just keep on browsing as much as you can !!
See different sites what they are doing and how they are doing.
Also, if you find some site which says its complaint to cross browser, HTML Standars, CSS standards, just peek a look at how they are doing things.
That has helped me a lot in quite a few cases.

Well taking a look at other sites and finding what looks good and is functional helps. The other thing is draw up a plan of where you are at and where you would like to be.
Find some online sourcecode and play around with it. A site is a true "Work in Progress" I do not think it is ever done just evolving.

Good content ?
Fast connectivity ?
Nice design ?
Constant evolution ?
Bug free ?
All of those are true, but I think that one thing that makes visitors come back again is not annoying them with a lot of ads. And people really hates the popups or the layers over their page.
I went to your site and the first thing I saw was "bringing you the best of internet". Who is the judge to say that it's the best of internet ? The best one of internet is the one who pays more to have the link ?
It's amazing the "wonderful surprise". No comments ...
The random site of the database is always "Multex investor personal finance". Does it changes ?
This page does not highlight which are the new added links.
Note: doing some calculus, the number of votes was 7 at this moment (including mine). Don't worry about hiding the total number of votes, if you show them you'll give more trust to your data.
And don't put the version number in the top of the page. For people who doesn't know about versioning, it means nothing. For developers, it means that the site has been reformed a lot of times without getting a good result.
And check your links !!
