Anti-debug product for exe files?
I'm looking for a solutions that will prevent debuggers like soft-ice being used on a MFC executable. Is there any good recommandations for products outthere that I can purchase? I cam across a product called EXECRYPTOR but not sure if it is worth the money.
Also with my limited knowledge on software cracking, the way MFC works is that it calls a lot of other DLL's (MSVCRT*.DLL, MFC*.DLL). Is this potentially dangerous for other people to reverse-engineer? Is there a good way to prevent this?
thanks for any advice!

You will have a hard time finding one that works well. As an exe needs to be executed by the computer it must be understood by the computer, which means the machine code can be viewed when the exe is running. There is no getting around that.

Try looking at this thread:

Go to about post #18 and beyond. Also, for the simplest thing to do, just make sure you strip all the debugging information out of the .exe before you ship it out.
