Putting special characters
How to manually put an invisible character into text file? I've downloaded notepad++, but at this moment it doesn't resolve my problem at all.
I even tried to 'CTRL+C CTRL+V' these characters, but it doesn't work with 'NUL' . Why?

Why are you editing a SQLite database file?

It is a sample file with "NUL" characters. There is also the second reason, which I will describe in the next topic after resolving my current problem

Have you tried the space bar?

Uh, okay, whatever.
Get yourself a hex editor.

I don't know if I am too late with this reply, but Notepad++ also contains a hex editor
If you are using the latest version (5.2.8) and have done a full install, then type the hex code of the special characters that you need, select them and then go to
The hex code of NULL should be 00 I think
plugins > converter > Hex to ASCII
I'm not sure where this feature is in the older versions, but I am quite sure they contain a hex editor
