    Computers over telephone?

So I was thinking what if you used computers over telephone/etc. (as much as possible) for voice/video/etc. Like instead of phones you use skype. Period. Eh?

so almost challenged you req Can I change my character once I create one? I figured I should probably be fire but I might want to change it if there's something better after I read about it a little bit.

Challenged me? At what? What character?

"As much as possible"... That's vague enough that it could go a long way. Okay.

Meh, I spent like five minutes on that years ago before I lost interest.

Well no, but in terms of replacing phones... I don't want people thinking that they can reach me just because I'm sitting at my computer.

Lol yea wtheck just ignore the call or I know, have a way of turning the thing on and off? Better yet, invisibility?

You could also make a thing that showed whether people were online or not too, to see if they are available. It would kick conventional telephones arse I think.

Wow... You know that you just described Skype. And while that's not bad, it's certainly not taking over from "standard" phones completely.
