Do you really have NOTHING BETTER TO DO than to post BS threads?
Or are you really just a bored teenager with nothing intelligent to discuss?
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Those 2 questions have just about as much importance as 98% of the threads/posts that you have made on this forum IMHO.

Well it's the lounge? What sort of questions would you rather see?

I apologize for the rant. You took it quite well.

I just get tired of seeing threads that start with "What is the best <fill-in-the-blank>?" or "What is <html|css|python|perl|javascript|etc, etc, etc>?" in a Programming/WebDevelopment type forum, when those questions could easily be answered with a quick web search.

So, when I see threads with titles that seem to have no point to them [or threads themselves that seem to have no point], I get aggravated.

But, I'm not a MOD, so, if they don't see anything wrong with your threads, then, I'll leave it be from now on.

Thanks for reading and being a good sport about it.

    Cheers.

The Lounge does market itself as "a place to relax, talk, and even have some friendly debate"...

If it gets any colder in my room I may try it. I have some wool gloves with the fingertips cut off.

When in army 10 years ago, I met a winter with outside temperatures of 30-40 below zero - you know, when you spit the saliva freezes before touching ground - and by coincidence the boiler house was totally demolished in previous months for reconstruction. Just the way it is sometimes done in Russia

It was really cold in headquarters building where I worked, so I sit with thick pea-jacket on but I could not get used to wear gloves while typing anyway.

I could not feel 'F' and 'J' keys through gloves and my hands at once felt bewildered. Perhaps it could be fixed by cutting tips of index fingers of the gloves, but I feel myself uneasy about cutting the only pair I have at such a severe weather.

right on. Yea it's a bit cold in here so I code with some cheap gloves on. The kind that are like $5 and you can get from the pharmacy. You can still feel the f and j keys through them so they work well for coding. Cutting the fingertips off some gloves would work well too I bet.

Correct. The Lounge is a place where everyone can have a chat with the community about topics that don't fit anywhere else...even social ones. But remember to be respectful of the community. If you start posting an excessive number of threads here, or if you don't contribute outside of the Lounge as well, it could still attract the attention of the moderators.

That being said, you know that they do make heated keyboards, mice, and mousepads. They're really not all that expensive either. I saw a keyboard on Amazon for $12 USD which is cheap for a keyboard.
