    Balmers Peak

Does anyone else here like to have some drinky-drinks more often than they should while working?

If so, what do you drink while you code?

    Define "working"...

If it's at work, then no. No drinking at work. Workplace Health & Safety (a government agency here) doesn't appreciate that.

If it's at home... then a couple can be OK, but that graph is a good indication of why it's not a great idea. You get worse for a while, then you think you're invincible (you're really not) and then very shortly after it all comes crashing to the ground.'

Having said all that I have done the drink-coding in my own time. It was Ok at the time, but it was really not a great result overall. For the code, or my head

That was.... a very depressing response.

If I work from home I have a small helping of whiskey or scotch almost every day. When I'm out of the office, it depends if I'm working in a place that allows alcohol or not, but I've been thinking about getting a flask for the places where it's not allowed

And working in the evening without whiskey or scotch? I think it's sinful! Although I might mix an energy drink in with it too then. Good to mix the uppers and downers to while burning the midnight oil right?

It seems to me like you're a borderline alcoholic in denial, trying to justify your lifestyle with other people.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper

The 6 worst sins of security ē How to (properly) access a MySQL database with PHP

Why canít I use certain words like "drop" as part of my Security Question answers?
There are certain words used by hackers to try to gain access to systems and manipulate data; therefore, the following words are restricted: "select," "delete," "update," "insert," "drop" and "null".
