Re: authors email

I really would like to get the e-mail of the author too.
First, excellent writing style, second it really got me going writing a document managment system I always needed since years. So, if the author reads this, I would appreciate to share some thoughts about a vault system.

[no subject]

This ol' sea dog would like to know if there are any systems out there that could index, then encrypt documents like treasure maps :-). I've seen namazu, swish-e & ++, htdig. But all of these can't index encrypted documents.

Anyone out there that can help?

Cracking The Vault (part 2)

Cracking The Vault \(part 2\)

The first part of this article discussed the basic design and architecture for an intranet document management system. In this concluding part, get to the good stuff with a discussion of the "check in" and "check out" process, and add a simple search engine to the system.

Please discuss this article in this thread. You can read the article here .
