That is the quickest way to learn about Zope! Anyway, have one comment: in my (old?) version of Zope the "missing" parameter from <dtml-var species missing="Alien"> does not work inside the <dtml-if submit> block, only outside ... Or do I maybe misunderstand the intention of your last example of the "DTML Basics (part 2) Submitting To The King"? best reg.
