Java's Advanced User Interface Components
Java\'s Advanced User Interface Components
Last time, we mastered some basic UI components and worked on how to add them to panels, organize their layout, and manage their events. Having covered all the basic techniques that we’ll need to get started with Java interface programming in our first article, , we will move on to some advanced UI components. Today, I’ll be covering scrolling lists, scrollbars, and canvases, and their functionality. It is amazing to see how many of complex tasks are simplified with the help of these advanced user interface components. Discuss the article in this thread. You can read the article here . |

it's completely bull****.
where's the advanced java UI components? what you presented there childs play. make an article about swing, how you can handle a JTable, models, events, Drang&Drop (the new dnd in jdk1.4), the new printing methods in 1.4. if you don't know swing, try to learn it. also, don't forget SWT (URL) . it's a good UI. |
