    Re: image on DB vs. filesys.

    There is a nice article about this on www.phpbuilder.com.

    Is there a limit to the size of the picture? I have a script that will upload a file only if it is smaller than about 100Kb. The problem lies with the SQL query - it returns False & the database is not modified.

    Re: graphics

    You might try using
    <!-- Code -->
    <p><pre><font color=#008000><xmp><a href="url">filename.gif</a>,</xmp></font></pre><p>
    <!-- Code -->
    as a start.

    In Phorum (www.phorum.org) they put the
    password in a seperate, not world readable
    file. You may want to check out how they
    do it there. They also use admin user
    passwords on their admin.php3 script, and
    you can use .htaccess to password protect
    the scripts on the (Apache) server.

    In that case, he shouldn't be able to get into your dir. If he can then it's a security blunder from ur ISP.

    Re: ERROR 2000

    Gee I wish I'd read this post earlier. I spent a day and half playing with the syntax before it occurred to me to try it without that last comma.

    Method Not Allowed

    Whenever I press submit I get a message which reads...

    Method Not Implemented

    POST to /php_files/joedb/ not supported.

    /php_files/joedb/ is the path to my php_data.php3 file. I have set all the permissions to all related files and directories to 777.

    Anybody got a clue about what might be going on here?

    Use LOAD DATA INFILE within a .phtml page.

    PHP building software?

    Hi

    I'm new to PHP and have some php3 files that need modifying and re-designing. I usually use Dreamweaver on my HTML projects and for clients, but it doesn't display/support PHP3.

    What software is there I can use?

    Thanks,

    Will

    Re: PHP building software?

    I sometimes use Dreamweaver as well. If PHP is configured to use ASP tags ( <% %> )then you can continue to use Dreamweaver w/o fear of your code getting screwed up.
