XML Parsing With DOM and Xerces (part 2)

... where the hell do you install the MyFourthDomApp.class file?

I've been learning and running your examples in this series and am now stuck because of this! In Tomcat, I've tried the WEB-INF/classes directory as well as the %TOMCAT%/classes directory and both give me 500 errors -

"Class org.apache.jsp.MyFourthDomApp not found."

Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. i think tomcat is looking for the org/apache/jsp directory as the servlet generated from the jsp puts the method in the org.apache.jsp folder.

anybody have a an idea?

I just can't figure out how to convert **DOM tree** stuffed with some XML data into **XML file** or just string with nice XML-formatted data, nodes and attributes.<br>
