use ?

    Hello !

I liked you articles about XML, XSL, X..., very much.

But I think, that there is a need for on more article about practical use. Where and with what do I parse those files ? Clients like explorer aren't the right solution. Probably I should parse it automaticaly on the server side and then show it ?? How can I use MySQL with XML , etc ...

One good practical case would be marvelous ;))

    Re: use ?

The interesting part would be (in my opinion):
    - Tools like xml2sql or dtd2sql in python (see: http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/library/x-matters12.html)
    - Communication enablement like MS BiztalkServer or Webmetods
    - Content management (but now the interest on this topic is very low)

    more flexibility with variables

the XSLT engine Saxon [ http://saxon.sourceforge.net/ ] has some great extensions on the functionality suggested with the W3C XSLT specs. One set of those extensions allows the developer some more flexibility with XSL variables.

    error

    Portfolio example:

    The condition:

    <xsl:when test="(cprice - oprice) > 0">

    should look like this

    <xsl:when test="(cprice - oprice) > 0">

and for the other one "<" instead of < vice versa.

    See Ya
