I would like to find out what there is out there for alternatives to a CMS.
What I am looking for is something very low cost or free that is easy to implement and requires little config to get started. And it should be easy for non-nerdy types to login and edit portions of the site so that more than one person can control content. The web hosting company has provided me with a PHP/ASP enabled site package. I have seen a PHP package called "Gallery" on many sites that is supposed to be easy to install and use. I understand it has to be put on the site to work. While its main thrust is photo display, I think it can be used to create an entire website. Can I get some feedback on this? |

Thanks. Can anyone give me a few leads on names of packages/scripts and where I can download these? |
