CMS wisdom please
The scope: A content rich kick A** travel site. Currently we've photographed and written copy on 8 countries and about 20 locations in each country. I need to develop a easy to manage CMS application that will allow us manage future destinations, be search friendly, and track advertising or marketing relationships. I've left out alot of the scope details
so I wouldn't bore you. A site model site would be along the lines of: fodors, frommers, lonelyplanet .
Is there any recommendations for an off the shelf product that could be customized?
I've heard and looked at PHPNuke, Ektron, any thoughts?
Are there any links that will help me in my quest in the search for managing a travel content site?
Should I stick with html and live in the dark ages?
all comments welcome.
