I use Visual Interdev for everything including my PHP coding. I dont use WYSIWYG, but I just like the way it handles tabbing, copy-paste, etc...

neither of which gives an explanation as to why you'd drag up a year old thread just to tell us that...

I don't understand how anyone can use Notepad if their scripts get any longer than a few honderd lines...
No bloody way I could get used to that.
I have been using all sorts of editors from Notepad, Frontpage, BBEdit, Dreamweaver but the best ever, with no doubt is Edit Plus (on PCs). It has a lot of great features like: Color Highlighting(Editable), Line Numbers, Folder Navigation, Find & Replace Between all Open Files if DESIRED (a BIG YES), it is very cheap around 30 Bucks. I use it for all my PC programming needs.
When talking on a Linux Machine its either Kate or Emacs. I am still a beginer on Emacs, but I use Kate a lot.
same to you omerie63.

I use PHPEdit and I am now so used to it that I can't stop using it ..
Maybe I should wait a year before posting this, it seems all the rage right now.
TextPad, it's fine for me
