combine htaccess and ftp
I have a web site (unix and apache) that allows cutomers access via htaccess. I also have a ftp site (unix). Is there a way I can combine them such that a customer can access the both sites via the website. Requirements:
1. Upon entering the website the user is prompted for a username and password. This authentication is also used, and matches, the ftp site. Thus htaccess and the ftp account are in sync.
2. The user can change their password on the website and this will affect the ftp site aswell.
3. Once authenticated the user can freely browse both the web site and the ftp site.
Is such a thing possible?
