CVS imports, but doesn't

Hey everyone,

I have a slight problem with CVS. I implemented it using http://www.iua.upf.edu/~dgarcia/Cod...spasoapaso.html, and everything seems to work, but when I try to check out, I get an error:

cvs checkout: cannot find module `module_name' - ignored

When I run the command
cvs import MyModuleName "MyVendorTag" "MyReleaseTag"

A file opens up with the following text:

CVS: ----------------------------------------------------------------------
CVS: Enter Log. Lines beginning with `CVS:' are removed automatically
CVS:
CVS: ----------------------------------------------------------------------

When I check the file /etc/group

the groupe I created, 'cvs', has the username that I'm logged in as.

Other than following that tutorial, is there anything that I missed?

I do admit, I didn't manually do step 1 'Install cvs and any cvs front end'
This is becuase, CVS is installed. I can use it to get MadWiFi wireless drivers using it, and I have cervisia CVS foontend installed using swaret.

Also, when importing the 'module', instead of creating the directory structure, I logged into the FTP that is current;y used to keep track of source, and downloaded everything into a directory with the same name that I used as the module name. Continuing with the tutorial I moved into that DIR and ran the cvs import command, with the required modifications.

This is when a file opens up and with the text above. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need to know anything.

This is all done in Slackware Linux 11.0.

I fixed it...fat finger syndrome...
