You don't need a fax machine to get faxes. Get a fax-to-email fax number from CallWave. Try it free.

Development using Mac OS X 10.4
Hi folks,
After having developed my websites on Windows this far, using a combination of Apache Tomcat, MySql and Eclipse, I wish to move my development environment to an iBook I purchased recently. Could you comment on portability issues I might face while doing that and suggest alternate environments I could use for web development? Thanks, Leo |

I haven't really used these packages too much but I can tell you that MySQL works perfectly on my PowerBook / 10.4. As for Apache Tomcat I don't really know but Apache is built in. I don't really know the difference between Apache and Apache Tomcat.
I know Eclipse is fully compatible with OS X but you don't say what language you are developing in. Apart from the usual Dreamweaver etc I can't really offer any other suggestions. I know it is possible to develop pretty much all flavours of .Net on the OS X using a plugin. I cant remember what its called but I'll try and search out a link for you. Hope this helps Chris
