Question Dreamweaver MX & The new XP Pro SP2

Has anyone had any issues running the new MS security patch SP2 on Windows XP Pro and uploading files from Dreamweaver MX?

I can connect to my server, FTP files up to my server (on a rare occasion), but most of the time I have to shut off the firewall to get it to connect.

Has anyone else run into this issue? If so, have you gotten it to work properly? How?

Hello,
Make sure the sp2 firewall isnt blocking dreamweaver.. if so, then add the port 21 for bypass.

If still not working, disable the firewall temporarily when uploading.

Thank you, I'll give that a try.

Dreamweaver connects at times, but not always, and sometimes dies in the middle of uploading and "Cannot find server". When I take the firewall off, it never has the issue.

I just love MS updates.............................(NOT!)
