DreamWeaver MX2004 - Change the DTD
Does anyone know how to change the DTD in DW automatically?
All I can find in the options is 'Make new docs XHTML compliant', but that creates a 1.0 Transitional dt in new documents, which is fine, cos I just change it to Strict, but it's annoying to have to change it all the time, so I was wondering if there was a way to change the declaration automatically... Cheers, --Jon.

Nevermind, I got it.
If anyone's interested, there is a folder containing all the default docs that are used when you create a new doc, so I just changed the default.php, .html and .asp as they are the only ones I use in the NewDocuments folder: C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX 2004\Configuration\DocumentTypes\NewDocuments ![]() |
