Dreamweaver Template Problem UPDATE
I thought I would let people know that unfortunately the edit preferences option posted in the last thread did not work when creating a new page from a template you just created.
It did help with links being updated when moving pages, but it did not help with my specific problem as I thought.
I did some more research and went to the Adobe site and asked there, it seems that if you have v 8.0 and have not updated to 8.02 (free update located at http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=f55d8739&sliceId=1 ) when creating a new template your links will always be converted to local links like file:///C|/Program%20Files/Apache%20Group/Apache2/yourFolder/yourFile.html
However, I did the update and still, when creating a new document from an existing template, all my links get converted to ile:///C|/Program%20Files/Apache%20Group/Apache2/yourFolder/yourFile.html still! I have posted this issue on the Adobe DreamWeaver forum and will update this post if I find a solution!
If anyone has any questions feel free to contact me.
Jen
