DreamWeavewr Template Assistance
Hello,
Not sure if anyone can help but if you can I would appreciate it. I have created a simple template in DW. When I try and create other files based on it, it changes all the links from say ../images/ to file:///C|/Program%20Files/Apache%20Group/Apache2/htdocs/pulse_Curriculum/images I have tried to change the local file information from Document to Site Root since the DW help files say that is where this is controlled but it changes nothing. Can someone tell me how to create a file from a template in DreamWeaver and have the links actually work? Thank you! Jennifer |

I think you should be able set an option to "update links" when saving ...check the setup preference options
[edited] click Edit>Preferences from the General tab check the setting for "Update links when moving files" choices are Always, Never, Prompt... if the links are "updated" it changes them to the last saved dir. from whatever...
