How to create a quicktime .mov clip
Do you need to buy Apple Quicktime Pro to create quicktime movies/clips?
If not, what other programs are available to create quicktime (.mov) clips and movies? |

For Mac, Windows or Linux? And no, there are other programs you can use, the pro just gives you more features for manipulating the files.

I have not found any good alternatives yet, but pro does give you the ability to add "hints" to the video to allow streaming of the video over web pages. |

I was told that Flash MX Pro can export .mov clips.

Flash would be a very expensive step up from the $30 quicktime pro. And while it can export a .mov file I can't say that I have ever seen anybody doing video editing with it. |
