IE6 / Joomla multi-level menu not working - Need Help (Resolved)

Are they any Joomla gurus in here who have done some template customization who can give advice on putting a drop-down menu with sub-menus inside of a custom template? This needs to be as cross-browser compatible as possible obviously. We have tried CSS and Javascript menus so far but both seem to die in IE6. The problem lies in the sub-menus, as they don't pop out in this browser. Firefox and IE7 seem to work fine.

If you think you could help, please reply and I will go into more detail on what we have tried so far. Thanks in advance for any help.

We figured out the problem with the CSS rollover menu was due to a misplacement of the hover file. The issue has been taken care of.

Thanks

The menu we were using had an external javascript file that handled the behavior of the rollovers. It was placed in an incorrect directory and therefore wasn't linked correctly in the source for the header. Once we figured out what was happening it was easy to move the external hover file to the correct directory and the menu started working correctly. I don't remember specifics for the solution, such as what the incorrect directory was, or where we moved the files to. I do seem to remember it seeming like a pretty obvious place though.

Hope that helps some. If not, reply back and I will check with my friend, he handles more Joomla stuff than I do and would probably be able to give a better indication as to what needs to be done.
