JSP Question

For the last few years I have been doing all my web development in Perl and CGI.pm. So I have been using Linux systems for this. I have been wanting to learn JSP, as this is becoming the new technology that many people want. I was wondering if it it good to stay with Linux and learn JSP there or learn it on a Windows platform? Just seems to me that Windows platform are lots easier to use for plug-ins, videos, audio, animations, etc. The problem is I know pretty much nothing of Windows or Windows development.

Thanks for any advice.

about JSP and the lot

Sorry for this very late answer, but most of the time, I'm only looking in the java forum. That would have been the best place for this message.

ABout JSP and Linux : seems to me that the linux users on the java forum don't have more problems like Windows users, like I am. Just start to develop with java, JSP's, servlets, eclipse and the lot. If you're having problems, come to the java forum of devshed. There are a lot of people willing to help you out. And I bet linux will be no more problem to develop JSP's than Windows.
