literature review of CMS

Hi folks, I'm currently writting my disseratation. The project was a combination of control panels and content management system.
I have to do a review of a CMS to include in the doc and I think 've decided upon mambo as its probabely the most popular open source one.

So I was wondering can anyone that use's it tell me what they think of it, functions, you know strenghts and weaknesses as content management systems go in general, not neccesserily compared to others.

Also if you can provide links to webpages that have conducted reviews of this product already and or websites which use this product for their management of content.
