Php development platform

what up,

i've tried many ide's and programs (eg. php designer, phpedit, hapedit, dreamweaver, etc.) but am looking for a light weight editor with the following:

syntax highlight
project searching (eg. specific a folder that is the source for a project, and can search across all of them [such that they're indexed])
file synchronizing (eg. when i change a local file, i can jut right click on the file from the editor, and directly upload it to the server [eg. dreamweaver has this through their 'put' command])

any thoughts?

I use Expression Web for the most part. UltraEdit is another great tool that you might find pretty good.

Hi,
I can recommend the PrimalCode as light-weight solution.
If you are looking for the freeware editor try the Eclipse + PHPeclipse plug-in
