php + html editor
Hi,
I am looking for a good php + html editor. My budget is $100 or less. I have tried out (just for fun) the Zend Studio, but I am more of a "web developer" rather than a real programmer, so I need something that is really functional for building websites. I have been using Homesite for years, but came to a point where I found its PHP support lacking. I also played around with Dreamweaver MX and loved the intellisense/auto-proposal, the ability to communicate with the database from within the editor, internal ftp, etc. etc. Are there any editors in my price range that offer all this? I have been looking at AceHtml and Namo. Both promise "advanced" php support. Does anyone have experience with these? Thanks for your help... |

Dreamweaver is the way to go... Although you'll have to stretch your budget a bit!
You can get free trial versions from the macromedia site though...
